Weeds never die, the wild grass is relentless: cut, torn, and eradicated, it will last forever. Three elements – the seeds, guardians of the beginning and the end of the life of vegetation; the built space, tangible effect of the human beings on nature world; and the idea of alive, linked solely with the manufactured environment which excludes Mother Nature's presence – represent three steps of impermanence. The abandoned space, which nature has re-possessed manifests the impermanence of human action. The visitor's interaction with the installation, users are invited to tear up the tufts of grass and take them away; the same way as taking a seed bomb, human beings' actions leave room for new and different configurations created by subtraction: the impermanence of the choice. The seeds contained in the bags and seed bombs, either by human action or by chance events, will reach a patch land to grow and transform themselves into something else: grass, flowers and plant, the impermanence of nature.

The project, selected for Montpellier's Festival des Architectures Vives, and later on exhibited in Turin in the exhibition Hot Pot, was requested the following year by the curators of the exhibition The Animal Farm Simulator in Beijing, widening the interaction with visitors and the spreading of seeds.
